Karunguru coffee estate

Three Generations of Passionate Coffee farmers have resulted in the remarkable coffee estate. In 1928 its original owners, the British Glassfords, founded the farm now named Karunguru and the cultivation of coffee. The estate is currently in the hands of the Kareithi family, who refined the coffee process producing the best coffee in Kenya.

About 9 kilometers off Thika superhighway, Karunguru coffee offers guided tours of the farm where you get a chance to explore the remarkable coffee farming and production processes. Enjoy a day tour full of activities around the coffee farm, a three-course meal, and of course the rich Kenyan coffee.

Fairview Coffee Estate

The Fairview coffee estate is home to the world’s finest coffee. Located in Limuru Kiambu county, this beautiful farm with nearly 100 acres under coffee is irrigated by the Riara River fed by streams from the Kenyan highlands. Since it was started in the 1900s, the Fairview farm has produced high-quality coffee due to its rich fertile soils. The coffee estate offers daily tours encouraging domestic consumption of coffee and educating people on the coffee production process. Fairview offers two daily tours at ten in the morning and two in the afternoon, where guests get to enjoy the fresh air as you stroll around the coffee farm.

Tigoni Tea Farm

In the outskirts of Nairobi, enjoy the peacefulness of the beautiful tea region of the Tigoni area.
